Singletary Says No To Baylor
November 23, 2007 |
Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary has removed himself from consideration for the Baylor head coaching job. Singletary, a three-time all-american with Baylor, decided that the job was not a good fit for him.
Apparently he told Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw that if the team wasn’t prepared to do what it takes to win a national championship he wasn’t interested in the job. And he’s not taking the job, so apparently they’re not willing to do what it takes. Congratulations Big XII; you’ll have a whipping boy for years to come.
