Nebraska Coordinator Received Death Threat

Folks in Nebraska obviously take their Huskers a little too seriously. Not only does defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove have a site devoted to getting him fired, an honor usually bestowed to head coaches, but now he’s actually getting death threats. An anonymous caller left threatening voicemail messages for the coach in the wee hours of Novemebr 4th, warning him to go back “where you came from you … before I … kill ya.” University police are working with the phone company to track down the nutcase.
What this caller did was wrong. However, he’s right to be upset with Cosgrove’s performance. Nebraska’s defense is currently ranked 112th in the country in total yards, 115th in rushing yards, and 105th in points allowed. Yikes.
