Houston Nutt Out at Arkansas?
November 18, 2007 |
Multiple sources, including ESPN’s Mark May and a Fayetteville, AK news station, are reporting that Arkansas coach Houston Nutt will not be returning next year. Reports are fuzzy about whether Nutt will resign or be fired, but in either case The Right Reverend will be moving on.
Nutt is 73-48 in his 10 years at Arkansas, with two SEC West titles (and a share of a third). He led the Razorbacks to 7 bowls in that period, with another one likely this year. He was the national coach of the year in 1998 and the SEC coach of the year in 2006.
